Due to the Covid-19 global pandemic and associated travel concerns, The IAED Annual Convention will be postponed until February of 2022. The IAED Board of Directors will continue to work diligently to ensure that many educational opportunities will be presented to our members. Please contact us directly to see if any educational events or certifications are scheduled.
The health and safety of our members is our number one concern.
We invite you to join us on our newly formed closed facebook group, The IAED Members Zone.
The International Association of Equine Dentistry (IAED) is a group of Equine Dental Technicians and Veterinarians working together to improve equine dentistry all over the world. We use scientific based evidence and peer reviewed equine dentistry techniques to maintain an IAED Certification Standard. This standard is the foundation for our independent and blind Certification Examinations, which include both written and practical exams. IAED Certified Members have proven their skills to be of the highest caliber, and are required to maintain their Certification by attending continuing education lectures and workshops.
The IAED hosts its Annual Convention and Trade Show every February with industry leaders and vendors from around the world. IAED Workshops and Certifications are held throughout the year, and are available upon request. Please contact us for more information.
We believe that it takes a dedicated team of professionals, each doing their part, to provide the best care for a horse. We support the horse owner's right to choose who works on their horses teeth, without overreaching monopolistic government restrictions. Currently many laws in the United States do not give owners that choice, and we are working together with other agencies to see that the horse owner's rights are defended. We appreciate your support!
